Eclipse has made all necessary programming changes to RapidLog so that it can audit correctly for the 10-hour driving, and 60/7 and 70/8 rules without the 34-hour reset, in case the recent court-order from the D.C. Court of Appeal stands.
Because there is substantial uncertainty over whether that ruling will stand, as well as the implementation date, we are not releasing these programming changes into the shipping product at this time. However, once a firm changeover date is established (if at all), we will release those programming changes into the shipping product.
Currently, the FMCSA has until September 14, 2007 to respond to the Court’s ruling. Feel free to check back at our website for further information as it becomes available.
